Early in the morning, take a boat trip to the Ballestas Islands, often called “the Galápagos of Peru.” On the way, you’ll spot the mysterious Candelabra geoglyph, a massive figure etched into the desert hillside that has puzzled historians for centuries. As the boat approaches the islands, prepare to be amazed by the abundant wildlife: sea lions lounging on the rocks, Humboldt penguins along the shore, and thousands of seabirds soaring overhead.

After the boat tour, continue south to Ica, where you will visit a traditional pisco vineyard. Here you’ll learn about the production process of Peru’s national licor and enjoy a tasting session.

Later, travel to the enchanting Huacachina Oasis — a natural oasis surrounded by towering golden sand dunes. Here, thrill-seekers can ride dune buggies and try sandboarding down the massive slopes.

In the evening, continue the journey to Nazca. After checking into your hotel, enjoy a good rest to prepare for tomorrow’s adventure to uncover the mysteries of the Nazca Lines.
