Day 1 – Arrival in Lima
Upon arrival at Lima International Airport, our representative will greet you at the exit and transfer you to your hotel. After check-in, enjoy leisure time to relax or explore at your own pace.
You can stroll through Kennedy Park or walk along the Miraflores coastal boardwalk to admire the Pacific views.
As Lima is hailed as South America’s culinary capital, we recommend trying its renowned cuisine—whether traditional Peruvian dishes or innovative fusion.
Day 2 – Colonial Lima City Tour
Your guide will show you the history of Lima in the Historical Centre.
Begin with the historic center: Plaza Mayor, Lima Cathedral, Government Palace, City Hall, San Francisco Monastery, Casa de la Literatura, Jirón de la Unión,Church of La Merced,and Plaza San Martín. Admire colonial and neoclassical architecture along the way.
After the tour, you will be transferred back to the hotel and have the remainder of the day free to relax or explore on your own.
Day 3 – Paracas National Reserve
Travel south along the Pan-American Highway, crossing the vast coastal desert, and arrive in Paracas.
Explore the breathtaking Paracas National Reserve, where the desert dramatically meets the Pacific Ocean. Over millennia, strong winds and waves have shaped this extraordinary landscape, leaving behind striking geological formations and towering cliffs. Your guide will take you to several panoramic viewpoints, and you’ll also stroll along the famous Red Beach, with its distinctive crimson sands.
After the tour, return to Paracas. The afternoon and evening are free for you to enjoy at your own pace — wander along the waterfront, browse artisanal shops, watch the sunset from a cozy café, or savor the catch of the day at a local restaurant.
Day 4 - Ballestas Islands & Huacachina Oasis
Early in the morning, take a boat trip to the Ballestas Islands, often called “the Galápagos of Peru.” On the way, you’ll spot the mysterious Candelabra geoglyph, a massive figure etched into the desert hillside that has puzzled historians for centuries. As the boat approaches the islands, prepare to be amazed by the abundant wildlife: sea lions lounging on the rocks, Humboldt penguins along the shore, and thousands of seabirds soaring overhead.
After the boat tour, continue south to Ica, where you will visit a traditional pisco vineyard. Here you’ll learn about the production process of Peru’s national licor and enjoy a tasting session.
Later, travel to the enchanting Huacachina Oasis — a natural oasis surrounded by towering golden sand dunes. Here, thrill-seekers can ride dune buggies and try sandboarding down the massive slopes.
In the evening, continue the journey to Nazca. After checking into your hotel, enjoy a good rest to prepare for tomorrow’s adventure to uncover the mysteries of the Nazca Lines.
Day 5 - Nazca Lines Flight Tour
You will embark on an unforgettable aerial journey, flying over the mysterious Nazca Lines. These gigantic geoglyphs, stretching across the desert plains, were created more than two thousand years ago. Each figure is carved on the ground with astonishing precision, and their purpose remains unknown to this day. From above, you will clearly see enormous designs such as the monkey, the hummingbird, and various geometric shapes.
After the flight, you will enjoy lunch in Nazca, and then take a comfortable bus ride to Arequipa. Along the way, you can admire the scenery as it transitions from the arid desert to the Andes mountains.
By evening, you will arrive in Arequipa, the “White City.” After checking in at the hotel, you may relax and rest, or choose to explore this charming colonial city on your own.
Day 6 - Arequipa City Tour
Starting from your hotel, we will take you to explore the “White City” of Arequipa. First, we will visit the Yanahuara and Carmen Alto districts, where you can admire the nearby valleys and the majestic Misti Volcano, while learning about the landscape and natural beauty of Arequipa.
Next, we will head to the Plaza de Armas, where you will learn about the history behind this city. Afterwards, we will visit the Iglesia de la Compañía de Jesús, which features exquisite colonial-style art and architecture, and then continue to the famous Santa Catalina Monastery. This well-preserved monastery, often called a “city within a city,” will give you insight into the monastic life of the past.
After the tour, we will take you back to your hotel. You will then have a leisurely afternoon to freely explore the charming streets and local culture of Arequipa.
Day 7 - Journey to Chivay
We will depart from Arequipa and head to Chivay — the gateway to the breathtaking Colca Canyon. Along the way, you will admire the stunning scenery of the Andean highlands: rolling hills, rugged landscapes, distant mountain ranges, and abundant wildlife such as vicuñas and various birds soaring overhead.
Upon arrival in Chivay, you will check in at your hotel. In the afternoon, you will have free time: you may enjoy a leisurely lunch and then visit the La Calera Hot Springs to relax in the naturally warm waters.
In the evening, we have arranged a traditional dinner accompanied by a folk dance performance, allowing you to savor delicious food while experiencing the vibrant cultural atmosphere of the Colca region.
Day 8 - Journey to Colca Canyon
After breakfast, we will head to the famous Mirador Cruz del Cóndor, where you can overlook the magnificent panorama of the Colca Canyon — one of the deepest canyons in the world — and observe the Andean Condor. This bird, one of the largest flying birds in the world, often glides gracefully along the canyon edges on the rising air currents, creating a breathtaking scene.
On the return journey, we will visit the villages of Maca and Yanque, known for their well-preserved colonial churches and traditional architecture. Along the way, you will pass by several viewpoints, where you can admire the dramatic contrasts of the Colca Canyon — steep cliffs interwoven with lush green valleys, forming a unique natural landscape.
After lunch, we will continue the journey to Puno, with a possible short stop at Lagunillas Lake (Lagunillas) depending on the circumstances, to enjoy the picturesque lake scenery and the rich birdlife of the area.
By evening, you will arrive in Puno, concluding a fulfilling and unforgettable day exploring the canyon.
Day 9 - Lake Titicaca
Lake Titicaca is the world’s highest navigable lake, known for its breathtaking natural scenery and unique indigenous culture. From Puno, we will depart by tourist boat to explore the wonders of this region.
Our first stop will be the Uros Floating Islands, made entirely of reeds. Here, you will learn about the lifestyle and building techniques of the Uros people, and you may also choose to take an optional ride on a traditional reed boat.
We will then continue sailing to the tranquil and authentic Amantaní Island. Upon arrival, you will hike to the island’s main square, where your guide will explain the local culture, history, and customs. At midday, you will enjoy a traditional lunch, tasting authentic local flavors. After lunch, you will have free time to admire the captivating lake and mountain views, immersing yourself in the peaceful atmosphere. Day 10 - Puno to Cusco
Early in the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel to begin the overland journey to Cusco.
Along the way, you will visit the Museo Lítico de Pukara, which preserves artifacts from the ancient Pukara civilization, including the famous “Hatunñaqac” statue that reveals the history and legends of this pre-Inca culture. We will then arrive at the Raya Pass (La Raya), located at 4,335 meters above sea level and considered one of the sources of the Amazon River. From here, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the majestic Nevado Chimboya. Afterwards, a traditional Peruvian lunch will be served.
In the afternoon, we will visit the Temple of Wiracocha in Raqchi, an Inca archaeological site dedicated to the highest deity, featuring impressive stone and adobe structures that reflect the spiritual and cultural significance of the Inca civilization. The final stop will be the Andahuaylillas Church, often referred to as the “Sistine Chapel of the Americas.” Its richly decorated interior showcases stunning murals and gilded artwork created by the Cusco School (Escuela Cusqueña), leaving visitors in awe.
Upon arrival in Cusco, we will take you to your hotel for check-in, where you can relax and reflect on the magnificent landscapes and profound culture experienced during the day.
Day 11 - Cusco City Tour
You may choose to embark on a half-day tour of Cusco either in the morning or in the afternoon. Known as the “Archaeological Capital of the Americas”, Cusco was the heart of the Inca Empire during the 14th and 15th centuries. Today, the city blends ancient pre-Inca and Inca architecture with Spanish colonial styles, showcasing its rich history and culture.
The tour begins at the Cusco Cathedral (Catedral del Cuzco), located on the Plaza de Armas. Here, you will admire its outstanding architecture and view several masterpieces by artists of the renowned Cusco School (Escuela Cusqueña). Next, we will visit the Temple of the Sun (Qoricancha), the most sacred Inca site dedicated to the Sun God (Inti). After the Spanish conquest, the Convent of Santo Domingo was built over it, yet many finely crafted Inca stone walls remain intact to this day.
We then continue to Sacsayhuaman, a ceremonial fortress built with massive stone blocks, offering breathtaking views of Cusco. Afterwards, we will visit Q’enqo, an archaeological site with mysterious underground passages; Puca Pucara, a fortress showcasing Inca military architecture; and finally Tambomachay, renowned for its elegant aqueducts, water channels, and waterfalls that demonstrate the Incas’ advanced hydraulic engineering skills.
After this enriching cultural and archaeological journey, you will return to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to relax or further explore this enchanting city.
Day 12 - Sacred Valley Tour
Today’s journey takes you from Pisac to Ollantaytambo, and finally to Chinchero. We will guide you through the Sacred Valley—once the heart of the Inca Empire and an important agricultural center.
The first stop is the significant Inca archaeological site of Pisac, renowned for its expansive agricultural terraces and its strategic position as the southern gateway to the Sacred Valley. After visiting the ruins, we will head to the town’s handicraft market.
Next, we continue to Ollantaytambo, an Inca fortress guarding the northern entrance of the Sacred Valley. Climb its series of terraces, stroll along its narrow ancient paths, and gain insight into its military, defensive, religious, and agricultural importance.
The final stop is Chinchero, a traditional Andean town that was once the royal estate of Tupac Inca Yupanqui. In the town’s main square, you will see well-preserved Inca stone walls and visit a colonial church built on Inca foundations. After enjoying Chinchero’s rich history and scenic views, we will return to Cusco.
Day 13 - Machu Picchu Tour
We will transfer you from your hotel to the train station, where you will board a scenic train to Aguas Calientes. Along the way, enjoy the lush mountain and valley landscapes that set the stage for the adventure ahead. Upon arrival, you will meet your guide and proceed to the entrance of Machu Picchu. Perched high in the Andes, this legendary “Lost City of the Incas” showcases the extraordinary achievements of Inca architecture and engineering. As you wander through its temples, plazas, and terraces, surrounded by breathtaking panoramic views, you will be amazed at the skill that allowed this masterpiece to withstand centuries of earthquakes and harsh weather.
After the guided tour, you will have free time to explore Aguas Calientes — enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, shop for unique souvenirs, or unwind with a visit to the town’s famous hot springs (optional). In the afternoon, we will take the train back to Cusco, and upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel to relax and reflect on this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Day 14 - Into the Amazon
Early in the morning, we set out towards Manu. Our first stop is at the Chullpas of Ninamarca, ancient funerary towers located at 3,750 meters above sea level. Continuing onward, we arrive at the charming colonial town of Paucartambo, where you can admire its historic bridge and picturesque streets.
From here, we ascend to 4,000 meters to reach the entrance of Manu National Park. Soon after, we begin our descent into the lush cloud forest, an ecosystem teeming with life. Along the way, marvel at orchids, ferns, and the dazzling national bird of Peru—the Cock of the Rock. With luck, you may also spot toucans, quetzals, or even the elusive spectacled bear.
In the afternoon, we reach the village of Pilcopata (550 meters above sea level), where you will check in to a comfortable lodge equipped with private bathrooms.
Day 15 - Machuwasi Lake Adventure
After breakfast, we travel to the port of Atalaya (490 meters above sea level), where we board a boat and navigate downriver into the heart of the rainforest, arriving at Paititi Lodge. Along the way, keep an eye out for a wide variety of birds and other wildlife.
After lunch, we head to Machuwasi Lake (Cocha Machuwasi). On a traditional raft, you will explore this jungle-surrounded lake in search of monkeys, reptiles, tropical birds, and the world’s largest rodent—the capybara.
In the evening, you may opt for a night walk in the rainforest to discover its hidden nocturnal life. Overnight at the lodge, where you will fall asleep to the natural sounds of the Amazon.
Day 16 - Macaw Clay Lick & Return to Cusco
At dawn, we take a boat ride to the famous Macaw Clay Lick, where you can observe various species of green parrots gathering on the mineral-rich riverbank cliffs to feed. After this unique wildlife experience, we return to the lodge for breakfast.
Following breakfast, we begin our journey back, passing through the lowland areas of Pilcopata, Patria, and Chontachaca, before gradually ascending once more into the cloud forest. Take this opportunity to enjoy the last glimpses of its unique ecosystems.
By evening, we arrive back in Cusco and transfer you to your hotel, where you will have free time to relax at your own pace.
Day 17 - End of the Journey
Your journey in Peru is coming to an end. We will ensure that your departure process is smooth and worry-free. At the scheduled time, our representative will meet you at the hotel and accompany you to the airport. Upon arrival, you will have ample time to complete the check-in procedures, preparing for your return home or the continuation of your next adventure.
