Amazon Rainforest
Day 1 - Journey to the Amazon
Early morning departure (05:30–06:00) from your hotel in Cusco.
Drive along winding Andean mountain roads, passing small villages and highland valleys before reaching Ajanaco Pass (approx. 3,500m), the entrance to the Manu Biosphere Reserve..
As we descend into the lush cloud forest, the landscape transforms into a paradise of orchids, bromeliads, and ferns. With luck, you may spot rare birds such as Gallito de las Rocas (the Andean Cock-of-the-Rock), umbrella birds, and quetzals.
Arrive at the jungle lodge in the evening. Enjoy dinner and rest.
Day 2 - Machuwasi Lake Adventure
After breakfast, take a short walk to observe birdlife and playful monkey troops.
Continue by road to Atalaya Port (490m) and board a motorized canoe to journey deeper into the rainforest. En route, you may take a refreshing dip or try a natural mud bath in the river.
After lunch , visit Machuhuasi Lake 湖泊, where you’ll paddle across tranquil waters on a rustic raft — a great opportunity to spot monkeys, lizards, caimans, capybaras, and tapirs.
After dinner, join your guide for a night walk to discover the nocturnal side of the jungle.
Overnight at a lodge with private bathrooms and showers.
Day 3 - Parrot Clay Lick
At dawn, visit the spectacular Parrot Clay Lick, where flocks of vibrant macaws and parrots gather to feed on mineral-rich clay. Return to the lodge for breakfast.
3-Day Tour:
Heading back by boat to Atalayaand continuing by road to Cusco.
Along the way, we’ll pass waterfalls, orchids, and hummingbird habitats.
Arrive in Cusco 17:00–19:00 around 17:00–19:00.
4-Day Tour:
After a short rest, continue hiking deeper into the rainforest to observe diverse flora and fauna — including the magnificent Kapok Tree,monkeys, reptiles, caimans, tapirs, and countless bird species.
In the evening, optional night walk for spotting insects, amphibians, and snakes.
Day 4 - Return to Cusco
Enjoy a relaxed morning or take a final guided jungle walk before breakfast.
After breakfast, head back to Atalayaand continuing by road to Cusco. Along the way, we’ll pass waterfalls, orchids, and hummingbird habitats.
Arrive in Cusco 17:00–19:00 around 17:00–19:00.
